Why would parents allow children onto the internet...there are some very strange pages out there. But for all the strange & bad sites on the web, there are some very good ones...to great ones. 

Joining and just following WebRings can be one way to explore the internet. There are WebRings of every kind...many for children...Pooh Bear WebRings...to penpal-WebRings.  Just the title of the webring can give you an idea of what you might find on the pages in a webring.  You can tour them...and if the sites are to your liking...allow the children to follow them...

There are some great kids WebRings. One of my favorite ways to surf is the Web RailRoad. They have several trains...that you can take...from tech trains...to children trains...each train stops at a train stop...someone's web page...and you travel along....visiting others sites...and you hop off anytime you  want and change trains...have a safe and happy journey.
